This is delivered through documented security management systems that are established within the context of the organisation's overall business activities, the security risks it faces and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Security objectives and targets are in place reflecting Serco's interests and those of our key stakeholders. These are managed through a security structure with individuals identified at all levels of the organisation with responsibility to effectively manage security within Serco.
To effectively manage security the threats and vulnerabilities to physical assets, people and information are understood. Controls are then implemented to manage this exposure. Such controls, systems and procedures are appropriate and proportionate to assessed security risks.
