We also accept nominations for the Chief Executive Award for Leadership which are given to people for their inspiration and leadership. Four awards were made in 2005.
Nominations are submitted to the relevant divisions who then review against agreed criteria before forwarding selected nominations to the main judging panel. In 2005 the judging panel consisted of Kevin Beeston Executive Chairman, Christopher Hyman Chief Executive, Lucy Adams Group HR Director, Grant Rumbles Group Operations Director, Robert Smith Director Assurance and Gail Johnson Manager Community Engagement and Charities. In addition a representative from Business in the Community provides independent external assessment of the process.
