Goose Bay is geographically isolated in northern Canada and the air base is the economic engine of the region and Serco is the areas largest employer.  Consequently Serco is a natural choice for on job training placements.  The contracts willingness to assist local educational institutions ensures that many students enjoy meaningful work terms.  They are able to apply their knowledge to real world situations under the guidance of experienced mentors.  Serco staff members not only teach the students job requirements, they model professional attributes such as attitude, dress, customer care and time management skills.  Whilst we offer students meaningful work experiences the students offer Serco quality work.
