Serco provide support for the complete IT infrastructure, including spacecraft operations IT support through a separate contract, to the European Space Agency (ESA). The Service Level Agreement driven contract was awarded to Serco in 1998, whilst Serco managed the original task based contract for ESA from 1980 to 1998.

The map shows the countries within Western EuropeSerco operate through devolving responsibility to the correct level. In practice this means that our Contract Managers operating contracts on or off customer sites run their contracts as if they were their own contracts. This creates a more responsive service delivery which is tailored to meet the requirements of each individual customer.

Serco operates through a flat organisation making our operational structure streamlined and efficient. The Support Offices are structured to assist our on and off site operations with all of their requirements. Their location also ensures customer access to senior managers on a regular basis which fosters a partnership approach and smooth lines of communication and escalation.
