Oracle, France
Serco started delivering non-core support services to Oracle France in 1998. Our contract with Oracle was renewed again in 2004 after a successful competitive tendering process when our solution and all of our prices were market tested.
Serco’s contract with Oracle began with the delivery of multiple non-core services in a single multi-activity contract. The services we delivered included internal services such as IT asset management, company cars and mobiles phones fleets management, building asset management including space planning and property data base, facilities management operations such as helpdesk, maintenance, cleaning, mail room, purchasing, warehouse operations, reception desk, switchboard and security.
Since the start of the contract additional activities have been added to the scope of the contract activities as Oracle France has seen the benefits of working with a partner able to provide a wide range of services. The additional activities have included services that assist with finance, marketing, communication and education as well as infographics and other internal services.
As with many of Serco’s operations elsewhere, our contract with Oracle France has been ISO 9001:2000 certified in September 2002, and audited by external parties on a regular basis. This provides our customer with higher levels of confidence in our ability to deliver quality support through a transparent service mechanism.
