Support Services to Coca Cola

Serco were awarded a contract in 2001 by Coca Cola to assist them in the creation of a landmark corporate headquarters in Europe which reflects the corporate image.

Since the contract began it has evolved as the relationship between Coca Cola and Serco has matured, thus allowing Serco to take on greater responsibilities.

The activities undertaken through this contract include:

  • Services and administration management
  • Administration and financial management of all FM operations and the associated contracts
  • Project management of on-site work programmes
  • FM Service Desk operations and contract administration
  • Audio visual support and meeting room management
  • Switchboard services
  • Reception services

The success of the contract has been reflected in the savings that Serco has been able to achieve across all operations. In total these savings have paid for Serco’s contract.

Additionally, Serco has developed and implemented in conjunction with Coca Cola a waste management policy covering the whole site. Through negotiations with the contractors and a global review of the waste strategy 80% of the waste is now able to be recycled. Furthermore, the new waste policy has allowed significant cost savings to be made.
