Serco manages three sites in southern Germany where we deliver the full range of services for numerous customers. The scope of Serco’s activities includes: technical and infrastructure management, catering, support and operation of the entire IT installations on-site, compliance with industrial safety regulations, and facilities management services for the owners.

These multi-activity contracts that Serco operate arose from the mid 1990’s reorganisation of DASA’s defence activities in Schrobenhausen, Ulm and Nabern which were divided according to the respective core capabilities and allotted to different companies. Against this background the facilities management tasks were entrusted to Serco.

We operate each facility providing property management expertise and utilising SAP accounting to understand the full cost structure. On those sites where there is more than one client we apportion central costs against usage and against for specific costs, such as travel or fleet management. We pass these costs on directly as they are generated.

The duration of the basic agreement for these sites are open-ended and supplemented by specific work tasks every year.
