Serco provide support for the complete IT infrastructure, including spacecraft operations IT support through a separate contract, to the European Space Agency (ESA). The Service Level Agreement driven contract was awarded to Serco in 1998, whilst Serco managed the original task based contract for ESA from 1980 to 1998.

In September 2002 Serco Belgium were awarded a contract by the European Parliament for the provision of first and second level support of IT systems for the Members of the European Parliament and their cabinets in both Brussels and Strasbourg.Serco provides IT support services to the Members of the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg.

In September 2002 Serco Belgium were awarded a contract by the European Parliament for the provision of first and second level support of IT systems for the Members of the European Parliament and their cabinets in both Brussels and Strasbourg. Support is provided for about 625 persons in all.

A unique point in this contract is that a section of the support team travels from Brussels to Strasbourg each month with the MEPs for the duration of the plenary sessions.

The on-site Support Services Team supports the Microsoft Windows 2000 Domain and file servers, and approximately 2250 desktop systems.

The main services provided under this contract include: 1st & 2nd level support to end users for the resolution of technical problems and assistance in the use of MS Office systems; management of various Windows 2000 servers including file servers, printer servers, web servers, data backup server and user administration; and system migrations (Hardware and Software).
