Service Contracts
Service contracts require more consideration from the client side, as inherent in the function of a service contract is the transfer of responsibility from the client to the contractor. The client must decide the extent of this transfer of responsibility and what changes are necessary on the client’s side to allow the smooth delivery of the service contract.
Elements that need to be considered include clear lines of communication, responsibilities, tools and facilities to be transferred or utilised, and Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
