Jordan

Jordan began a privatisation programme in the 1990s. After an initially slow start, since around 1998, it has been one of the most successful of such programmes in the region. In particular, the privatisation programme has concentrated on national infrastructure and utilities, including transport, electricity, water and telecoms. However, gradually it is beginning to extend towards human service sectors.

This section contains a range of resources relating to economic reforms and the privatisation programme in Jordan.
