Serco Interim Management has a strong Health capability and provides excellent service to Strategic Health Authorities and Primary Care Trusts across the country. These include:

  • A Surrey PCT where we provided an interim Clinical Coding Project Manager to help improve the Trust's management of its registration and allocation processes and procedures. This has included engaging with all levels from clinicians and senior management to administration and support functions to deliver improvements.
  • The Care Services Efficiency Delivery (CSED) programme, part of the Department of Health, where we have provided Programme Management and Business Implementation Management interim support to assist local authorities with the provision of equipment for patients as they transition back into the community.
  • A national service transformation demonstrator programme sponsored by NHS Connecting for Health.  Serco provided a number of change consultants to work with the NHS in a number of local health communities across England.  The demonstrators focused on different aspects of service transformation, including urgent care; achieving 18 weeks for elective care; care for people with long-term conditions and mental health.
