Training
Serco has a proven track record of developing and delivering a wide range of leadership and management training for staff at all levels and in different organisations. We engage in providing support and leadership for sustainable organisational and cultural change management and in truly integrating services.
We are major providers of training and Leadership services to serving Head teachers, middle managers and school bursars and we deliver both our own high quality programmes and those of the NCSL and other government agencies.
Our clients include the National College for School Leadership (NCSL), The DfES Fasttrack programme, the States of Jersey, Welsh Assembly Government, Local Authorities and clusters of schools throughout the Country
Since beginning our training programmes we have successfully trained:
- Over 1200 school middle leaders (subject leaders, heads of year and department, SEN and key stage coordinators) have developed their skills on the Leading from the Middle course
- 550 recently qualified head teachers have been on the Headteacher Induction Programme
- Over 1700 bursars have been awarded the Certificate for School Business Management and 80 of them then completed the more demanding Diploma of School Business Management
- 1400 English and 1100 Welsh headteachers have undertaken the Leadership Programme for Serving Headteachers course
