Serious Organised Crime Agency
Since 2000 Serco has had a ten-year strategic partnership with the National Crime Squad, which has since migrated into the Serious Organised Crime Agency - Britain's lead police agency in fighting serious and organised crime.
A key element of the partnership is the Athena intelligence collation and analysis package which we developed with the NCS.
Serco also provides secure IT and data hosting, training, mobile communications, an enterprise service desk, collection and storage of evidence, case files and seized assets, and general support for 1,500 officers and 400 other staff across the UK.
The quality of serivice we provide has seen the contract grow in value from an original figure of £65 million to double that.
