Serco works closely with the UK Home Office's Immigration and Nationality Directorate to help the Government manage migration successfully.
We help the Immigration Service in their efforts to combat people trafficking. We provide a tailor-made intelligence analysis solution, known as Mycroft, plus IT and communications infrastructure support.
We run one Immigration Removal Centre, caring for detainees who do not have the right to remain in the UK, ahead of their removal overseas. We ensure all detainees are treated with dignity and respect.
And we provide electronic monitoring in the community of asylum seekers and illegal immigrants as an alternative to detention, to enable the Government to maintain contact with them while their cases are being processed.
