Communications
Serco provides overt and covert vehicle communications capabilities. We have been working with police customers in this area since 1991 and provide dozens of different vehicle builds for specific surveillance or command processes.
We offer the following services:
- Covert and semi-covert communications
- Secure radio.
- Public Warning Equipment.
A team of suitably trained and cleared radio engineers are strategically positioned to provide country-wide support to direct user sites. They are fully mobile in innocuous support vehicles and travel equipped with a full range of test equipment and spares.
Vehicles can be delivered anywhere in Britain for use and collected again at the end of service. They are then carefully decommissioned and returned to normal use - often disposed of through auction.
