Offender Management
We care for offenders along their entire journey through the criminal justice system - taking them to and from court, caring for them in custody and monitoring them in the community. We aim to provide offenders with the support and skills they need to live a stable, healthy, law-abiding life after the end of their sentence - whilst ensuring they face up to the consequences of their crimes.
We currently run four adult prisons in Britain, under contract to the Home Office's National Offender Management Service and the Scottish Prison Service. We also run a Young Offenders Institution and a Secure Training Centre for juveniles for the Youth Justice Board of England and Wales. We also run a prison in Western Australia and provide non-custodial services to another in Germany.
We provide electronic monitoring services across a large part of England and Wales and all of Scotland. And we provide escort and court custody services for London and the south east of England.
On an average day we have around 7,000 offenders and people awaiting trial in our care across Britain.
