Path 2 Work

Serco, Turning Point and Rainer came together as an alliance of three leading national organizations in the Home Affairs arena, each with their own specialisms but all with the same goal: to offer an effective and comprehensive service to offenders which reduces offending and improves their lives.

Between the three organizations we offer solutions to all seven pathways to resettlement which is why the alliance was the perfect vehicle to run the East of England path2work employability pathfinder. Sustainable Employment is a crucial hurdle for ex-offenders to overcome if they are to resettle well in the community.

Rainer and Turning Point are pooling their expertise to offer a targeted project worker service to help offenders with a spectrum of barriers to settle chaotic lifestyles, train and prepare for work, then successfully gain employment.

Serco are providing the employment advisor service to help employers to understand the needs of the offender and the benefits of employing them, to match the right offender to the right vacancy and to then ensure that both employer and employee are happy with the placement. The Project Workers and Employment Advisors then work together to support the employer and employee once in work to ensure that they successfully sustain their employment.
