Traffic Control Monitoring - United Arab Emirates
Jumeirah Palm Island, currently being constructed off the cost of Dubai is considered to be an icon for tourism, pleasure and engineering excellence. Serco has carried out the transport information and control strategy for access, safety management and incident management on the island. The outcome of the strategy is likely to require incident detection, surveillance, control centre, message signing and traffic control. All facilities will be integrated within the security and IT strategies to provide an optimum operating environment with minimum intrusion.

Traffic Control Monitoring - Qatar
Serco is currently providing technical support to a feasibility study for a Traffic Control and Monitoring system project in Qatar. Working with a New Zealand based firm, the study has included a review of existing and candidate traffic control systems deployed throughout the world. 

National Driver Information and Control System (NADICS) - Scotland
Serco has been tasked by the Scottish Executive to provide a review of the National Driver Information and Control System (NADICS), its architecture and future capability. NADICS is Scotland’s national driver information and control system for the motorway network and provides interface to Glasgow’s local road network. The outcome of the review will be to develop a roadmap for provision of travel information services and a methodology for enhancing NADICS to satisfy these requirements and to deliver the vision.
