From Monday 17th November 2008, 'Serco Occupational Health' has become the new name for Grosvenor Health, Associated Health Specialists and Health Sure. Serco Occupational Health has today announced new contract wins and the extension of current business.

Serco acquired The Grosvenor Group in June 2008. The existing contract with Reuters has been renewed and expanded to cover all of the newly merged Thomson Reuters. It has also been confirmed as the provider of occupational health service for 13,000 of Serco's directly employed staff in the UK.

Serco Occupational Health provides a range of tailored services to major organisations across the UK in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Services are delivered on-site, remotely or via a fleet of mobile units and include fitness for work assessments, health surveillance, absence and rehabilitation management as well as medical adjudication services for the pensions and insurance industry.

Crishni Waring, Managing Director of Serco Occupational Health, said: "Serco Occupational Health has built on the solid base of the Grosvenor Group and I am delighted to see us already winning new business as well as expanding current contracts. Now that the integration of the business is nearing completion our team will be focussed on maintaining high levels of service provision along with winning new business across the public, private and voluntary sectors."
