Serco Occupational Health confirms new name and announces contract wins

From Monday 17th November 2008, 'Serco Occupational Health' has become the new name for Grosvenor Health, Associated Health Specialists and Health Sure. Serco Occupational Health has today announced new contract wins and the extension of current business.
Serco acquired The Grosvenor Group in June 2008. Since then Serco Occupational Health has been appointed through competitive tender by Somerset County Council, West Dumbarton Council, Aberdeen City Council and Strathclyde Police. The existing contract with Reuters has been renewed and expanded to cover all of the newly merged Thomson Reuters. It has also been confirmed as the provider of occupational health service for 13,000 of Serco's directly employed staff in the UK.
Serco Occupational Health provides a range of tailored services to major organisations across the UK in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Services are delivered on-site, remotely or via a fleet of mobile units and include fitness for work assessments, health surveillance, absence and rehabilitation management as well as medical adjudication services for the pensions and insurance industry.
