Serco selected for major US Professional and Technical Services contract

Leading international service company Serco has been selected as a supplier of managed services for two multiple award contracts from the US Army Research Development and Engineering Command.
The contracts are similar to selected supplier lists, run for a term of 27 months and have a total value of $370m.
Under the terms of the contracts, Serco is one of a select numbers of suppliers that can provide a range of professional or technical services under the Cooperative Administrative Support Unit programme, on a world-wide basis.
Serco is one of five companies selected for the Professional Services contract, valued at $260 million. Under this contract, Serco will compete for federal agency projects that require people with higher-level educational degrees or professional qualifications, such as engineers, accountants or attorneys.
The Technical Services contract, valued at $110 million, was awarded to Serco and two other companies, and includes work that requires personnel with training in technical, craft or trade skills.
