Interim Results June 1998

Date : 02 September 1998

  • Turnover up 17% to £285.6m (1997 - £244.4m)

  • Profit before tax up 20% to £12.7m (1997 - £10.6m)   

  • Earnings per share - before FRS 10, up 23% to 14.2p
                                - after FRS 10, up 21% to 13.9p   

  • Dividend up 15% to 2.3p net per ordinary share (1997 - 2.00p)
