Serco Not Selected for NATSPPP

Today, the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions ("DETR") announced that Serco's wholly owned subsidiary, Nimbus Holdings, had not been awarded the NATS Public Private Partnership.
Richard White, Executive Chairman, said:-
"Whilst we are naturally disappointed not to have been chosen as the Government's partner in this Public Private Partnership, it will not impact on Serco's ability to sustain the healthy long term growth it has established over many years.
Serco is active in many aspects of the market place which continue to offer significant opportunities. Serco also remains committed to continuing as a major participant in Public Private Partnerships."
Richard White also acknowledges the massive effort put in to the bid by the Nimbus team, its partners and advisors.
