AEA Technology Acquisition Completed

Following the announcement made by Serco Group plc ("Serco") on 20th August 2001, Serco is now pleased to announce that it has completed its acquisition of the Consulting Division of AEA Technology plc ("AEAT"). At an EGM on Friday 7th September, AEAT gained approval for this transaction from its shareholders.
The business will trade as Serco Assurance, a division of Serco Limited with Adrian Marks as Managing Director.
