Serco recognised for outstanding Safety Performance

The outstanding safety performance of Serco's businesses, contracts and joint ventures has been recognised with 29 different awards and commendations in RoSPA's annual national safety awards, the UK's most respected awards for occupation health and safety management performance.
This recognition includes both finalists for the highest accolade, the Sir George Earl Trophy, won by Northern Rail, with the National Physical Laboratory as the other finalist.
Overall, Serco's businesses, contracts and joint ventures won three of RoSPA's six major awards and three of the awards for industry sectors. Other awards for Serco included recognition for continued high performance with a President's Award for the team at RAF Fylingdales, our longest running contract, and Gold Medal Awards for consistently achieving the Gold Award standard over a number of years.
