Serco receives National Awards for Outstanding Safety Performance

Serco has again been recognised for outstanding health and safety performance with 23 awards and commendations in the annual RoSPA national safety awards.
The awards for Serco include the top awards for outstanding performance in two sectors; Transport and Research and Development. These two sector awards were won by Serco's joint ventures, Northern Rail and the National Nuclear Laboratory.
Other recognition included an award for Serco's contract at RAF Fylingdales for a sustained very high level of health and safety performance over more than fifteen years. Other services provided by Serco were recognised for a similar high level of safety performance maintained over a number of years including the joint venture at the Atomic Weapons Establishment, the marine services contract for the Royal Navy and support contracts at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Wishaw General Hospital.
