Serco appoints new global business development director for its transport business

Serco has appointed Andy Moucessian as global business development director of its Transport business. He joins from Parsons Corporation, where he was Vice President & Managing Director Rail and Transit responsible for the Middle East and Africa.

With over 20 years experience in the transport and transit business, including senior global positions with Bombardier and Carillion, Andy has been a major contributor to the delivery of major projects including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.

In his new position, he will develop Serco's transportation business in the UK and world-wide.

Nick Brown, chief executive officer of Serco Integrated Transport said: "Andy brings considerable global transport business skills to Serco. His considerable engineering experience and management of major transit and infrastructure projects will help drive Serco's transport growth plans world-wide." 

Serco has recently signed a contract to operate and maintain the first two lines of the Dubai Metro which when completed will be the world's largest driverless metro carrying over 1.2 million passengers a day.
