Aviation Safety Management Systems (ASMS) provide a framework for identifying, classifying and managing operational risk to safety critical activities whilst providing the foundation on which to build a sound business. These systems are required by ICAO and have been implemented across our aviation contracts regionally, including Bahrain and six facilities in the United Arab Emirates. Building on this experience, Serco has provided ATC consultancy to put in place safety management systems in Egypt as well as Qatar.
