As the world's largest non-state, commercial provider of air traffic services, Serco has strength in depth across all aeronautical disciplines. Operating across 80 sites on four different continents, we handle more than six million aircraft movements annually. Uniquely, we are the only non-state organisation that authorises the issue of Air Traffic Control Officers' (ATCO) licenses on behalf of an International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) signatory state.
Serco has been providing air traffic services, training, consultancy and support to clients in the Middle East since 1947. Currently, we operate at 6 major international airports and area control centres in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, and we have provided consultancy on the implementation of safety management systems in Egypt and Qatar.
