Options

The Facility Options module is a completely flexible tool that allocates learners to teaching groups according to their subject choices. It helps planners to draw up and distribute proposed options to upper school students and analyses the take-up to check feasibility.  All variables such as group size and staff availability can be programmed in to ensure the optimum balance between subjects as well as making best use of school resources.  

Once options are arranged the teaching group allocation will lay the foundations for the next year’s timetable by creating different option blocks.  There is no need to re-enter data because the plan can be used directly by Facility Scheduler to set up the new timetable.
