The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) aims to make the web accessible to all by promoting technologies that take into account the vast differences in culture, language, education, ability, material resources, access devices, and physical limitations of users.

Serco is committed to ensuring that all aspects of its website are accessible, and compliant with the Disability and Discrimination Act.

The text only version of the corporate website makes the site more accessible to those on a low bandwidth, and is also optimised for voice browsers. The corporate site will be available in number of global languages to reflect the diverse global markets we operate in.

Furthermore we will be conducting a usability study to ensure the site is usable, informative and easy to use for all our vistors.

If you have any comments or questions about Serco's approach to accessibility, please email the Webmaster

Chris Hyman, Chief Executive: Last year I was delighted to launch our new global awards which celebrate the achievements of people who have excelled in living our values, our Governing Principles. Our values are the heart of Serco and through these awards we celebrate the very best in Serco that keeps that heart pulsing and alive. For this reason we have named them the 'Pulse Awards' and describe them as celebrating the vibrant heart of Serco
