How can I nominate someone?
All you have to do is fill in a form. The judging panel will do the rest. You can get a form from your manager or the Pulse Awards pages on the Our World intranet.
Nomination forms for the 2008 awards will be available in September 2008.
Who can I nominate?
Individuals and teams who have exceeded expectations in living one or more of our Governing Principles, including joint venture companies.
You can nominate yourself, a colleague, our customers or one of our partners.
How do the awards work?
Once you have sent in your nomination it will be judged by a panel in your division. If successful your nomination will receive a prestigious divisional award and be forwarded to the global judging panel that will decide if it should be recognised for a global award.
Divisional award recipients will receive their awards at a divisional event when they will also find out if they will also receive a global award.
Are there separate divisional awards?
Yes, there are both divisional Pulse awards and global Pulse awards.
Why are the awards called Pulse?
The Pulse awards celebrate the vibrant heart of Serco, hence the appropriateness of the Pulse name.
What’s different about the Pulse Awards from the Chairman’s Recognition Awards?
The Pulse Awards are more closely linked to our Governing Principles. There is only one award – the Pulse Award. There are two levels of Pulse Awards – divisional and global.
When is the closing date for nominations to the divisional Chief Executives?
Closing dates for nominations for 2008 awards will be announced later this year.
When is the global Pulse Awards event and where?
The 2008 Global Pulse Awards event will be held in London in 2009. The date will be announced with the launch of the 2008 awards in September.
