Successful resettlement into local communities
Our resettlement programme at HMP Kilmarnock engages successfully with a range of local agencies, including Apex Scotland, East Ayrshire Council, to charitable organisations such as the Samaritans and the Lighthouse Foundation. Working with these agencies, we provide offenders with the support and skills they need to continue their plans first made in prison by extending support to them outside and into Scottish communities.
