Senior Safety Case Engineers
Location: Quedgeley, Gloucester
Business Area: Power Generation Business, Civil Nuclear Business Group
Salary: £35k to £55k dependent upon skills and experience
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join our experienced team of safety case professionals, supporting high profile customers across the nuclear sector. You will provide safety case consultancy and leadership, helping our customers to deliver robust safety justifications for their plant. You will also play a key role in developing safety case personnel both internally and across the wider safety case community, passing on your experience and safeguarding this important discipline for the future.

Responsibilities
- Provision of high level safety case consultancy
- Development of safety case standards and processes
- Development of safety case strategies and plans
- Technical leadership and oversight of safety case teams
- Peer review
- Liaison with regulators
- Development of safety case personnel
- Mentoring and training less experienced staff
- Active participation in safety case workshops/seminars
- Delivery to time, cost and quality, ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements - Education and Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate scientific or engineering discipline
- Significant experience of safety case management and authorship in the nuclear generation sector
- Experience of dealing with senior management and regulators
- Experience of managing safety case personnel
- Full, clean UK Drivers Licence
- Security clearances will be required

Remuneration
A competitive salary (£35k to £55k) and remuneration package will be agreed depending on qualifications and experience.
