Integrated Sensor Management System (ISMS)
Serco brought together a world class team to deliver ISMS. The system provides rapid and accurate warning of CBRN threats to deployed forces or to static strategic installations. ISMS integrates a managed system of 'plug and play' CBRN sensors through a state of the art communication system to a central control point. The result is a high level of technical capability in a resilient system which is simple to deploy, configure and operate.
Central to ISMS is the capability to provide a high degree of confidence in the CBRN alarms generated, and in particular, low incidence of false biological alarms. A key part of our design solution is the incorporation of powerful biological data fusion software acting at individual detector and network levels. The software, in combination with the Biral VeroTect biosensor, makes ISMS a world leader in reliable bio-detection capability.
