This programme provides routine screening of traffic at all types of UK points of entry to prevent the illicit importation of radiological substances, as part of the Government's counter-terrorism strategy
The £100million, ten-year contract was signed with the Home Office in October 2005. The system will be operated by HM Customs and Revenue officers.
