Change Management

Serco recognises that to successfully manage change requires an environment that is based on a culture of continual improvement. Strong requirement analysis and solution design capabilities, coupled with proven project management skills, enable it to manage step change as well as transformational change management. At the heart of the change process is a route map that helps to manage change and guides clients through a custom-built change journey. By following the route map, three core target outcomes will be achieved that will determine success:

Building a platform for sustainable business success;

Establishing a motivated, competent workforce who are proud to be part of the organisation;

Creating the knowledge and capability to realise the change.

To support the achievement of these outcomes, we adopt best practice techniques and processes, applied in conjunction with its change management skills. In applying these processes, we focus on five core objectives that support the change initiative:

  • To identify targets, benefits and rewards to be achieved and maximised from the change initiative;
  • To ensure that the need for change is understood across the whole organisation;
  • To identify and minimise risks and negative impacts on the organisation;
  • To achieve the involvement of all people across the organisation;
  • To ensure that the change is perceived positively and adds real value.
