We provide specialist technical consultancy on the safety, reliability, integrity and performance of mechanical systems and components essential to the operation of safety critical plant. Our areas of expertise include pumps, valves, pipework, system design, cranes and lifting equipment.
These skill areas are currently mainly applied to Independent Nuclear Safety Assessment of safety cases presented by design contractors, of MoD nuclear submarine steam raising plant and as consultancy to the MoD in support of high integrity lifting appliances for the handling of armaments (See case study). A similar range of work is also carried in support of civil nuclear operations.
