Who We Are
Serco's technical and assurance services business has a turnover of ~£85m and over 800 staff, the majority qualified to first degree or higher we have an outstanding technical capability across a wide range of technical disciplines. The expertise within the technical and assurance services business covers almost every branch of engineering and science as applied to complex systems, safety, risk, reliability and plant performance. This is complemented by skills in ergonomics, psychology, structural integrity, materials and information technology. Many of our staff are acknowledged experts in their chosen field and we have extensive experience of working with industry, government and regulatory agencies.
The technical and assurance business has offices nationwide including Warrington, Waterlooville, Harwell, Cumbria (Westlakes), Winfrith, Weymouth, Quedgeley, Derby.
Together with the National Physical Laboratory and the Atomic Weapons Establishment the Serco Technical and Assurance Services business is part of the Defence Science and Technology Division of Serco Group.
