Our Business Management System is compliant with BS EN ISO 9001:2000. Serco Usability Services is also a major contributor to international usability standards, including IS0 13407 “Human-centred design processes for interactive systems.”

Serco Usability Services is listed on the S-Cat catalogue. This is designed to simplify the procurement process for our government clients. 

Association of Computing Machinery (ACM)
Serco Usability Services is a long-standing member of the ACM. Consultants make regular appearances at the ACM’s popular CHI conference

The British HCI Group
Serco Usability Services has been an active contributor to the British HCI Group since hosting their first UK conference in 1987. Present involvement includes a monthly column for Usability News, and regular appearances at the British HCI Group’s conferences.

The British Psychological Society
The British Psychological Society (BPS) is the representative body for psychologists and psychology in the UK. By its Royal Charter the Society is charged with national responsibility for the development, promotion and application of psychology for the public good.

The Ergonomics Society
The Ergonomics Society is the only professional society in the UK dedicated to Ergonomists and those interested in ergonomics. It also represents related disciplines including Human Factors.

Usability Professionals Association
Employees of Serco Usability Services are actively involved in participating and running the UPA and UK UPA. Serco Usability Services has had a board presence in the UPA since 2002, and is a council member of the UK UPA. Andrew Swartz jointly coordinates UPA North.

UXnet
UXnet is dedicated to exploring opportunities for cooperation and collaboration among UX (user experience) related organizations and individuals. Serco Usability Services is part of the Executive Council of UXnet.
