Serco Usability Services recently worked with Newcastle City Council (NCC) in redesigning the Newcastle City Council website to improve usability and accessibility. A wide range of activities we performed over the past year, including the training of NCC staff to write for the website, the validation of early site wireframes, and usability testing of the final prototype. An accessibility review was also performed. Paul Doney, ICT Applications Manager at NCC says, "The Serco staff we worked with were able to give direction where and when required. Very likeable and approachable people whom myself and my team enjoyed working with." View the site.
