Serco secures renewed cleaning contract with Victorian Department of Education

Serco is proud to announce our continued support for the Victorian Department of Education, through a new contract commencing on 26 December 2024.

This initial three-year contract will see Serco maintaining safe, healthy learning environments through the delivery of general, emergency, and periodic cleaning services across 172 Victorian schools. This equates to around 23,000 rooms and more than 900,000 square metres of cleanable area.

Serco Community Services Managing Director, Jeannine Biviano said Serco has been delivering these important services on behalf of the Victorian Department of Education since 2018 and looks forward to continuing the partnership into the future.

“Our experienced local teams of more than 500 cleaners understand the diverse needs of education providers, and work with our clients to deliver seamless services tailored to the needs of educators and students,” Ms Biviano said.

“Over the past six years, Serco has delivered high quality cleaning services, ensuring the thousands of students, educators, and school staff we support have safe and healthy environments to learn and work in.”
