Between August 2011 and October 2014, Serco was part of the team involved in the commissioning of Fiona Stanley Hospital in Western Australia.
The Western Australian Department of Health, working with Serco and its partners, commissioned this new 783-bed tertiary hospital. Serco’s role included designing and developing non-clinical services, purchasing and deploying equipment, designing and implementing the hospital’s ICT infrastructure and recruiting 1000 local people to deliver non-clinical services at the hospital.
Fiona Stanley Hospital opened in October 2014 and since then, has been providing high quality services to the people of WA. Serco provides 25 non-clinical services at the hospital.
