Peter Neale – Managing Director Citizen Services
Peter Neale brings almost two decades of public sector experience with a focus on service delivery, strategic reform and transformation, delivering improved outcomes for clients, customers, staff and other stakeholders.
Leading large-scale, complex public service transitions and operations management, Peter’s expertise in strategy, finance, and program management informs his approach to transforming and improving critical public services.
Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
Roz Hanson - General Manager AHSC Workforce - Serco
Roz Hanson is a trusted healthcare leader with 30+ years of clinical expertise (Trauma Nursing and Emergency Management), program management (NHS Modernisation Agency Reforming Emergency Care), public and private healthcare facility management experience in the UK NSH and Australia.
Roz was appointed General Manager, Australian Defence Force Health Services Contract in June 2020. Prior to this Roz was Serco’s Contract Director at Fiona Stanley Hospital for two years, where she successfully led the delivery of 24 integrated facility management services at one of Australia’s most advanced public healthcare facilities. A valued member of the Hospital’s Executive team, Roz strengthened relationships across all services and was integral in the hospital’s COVID response preparations.
Before joining Serco in 2018, Roz held Executive roles in SA Health (Noarlunga Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre) and Spotless (Royal Adelaide Hospital PPP), leading large teams (1,000-5,000 employees) in complex organisations to deliver patient care and continuous improvement projects.
Terri Antonio – Director Clinical Quality and Compliance
Terri joined the Serco leadership team in 2016. She is a Registered Nurse with 34 years’ experience in Health, and holds a Masters of Management and qualifications in psychology, project management and frontline management.
She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Managers (ACHSM) and a Leadership Mentor for the Australian Mental Health Leaders Fellowship (AMHLF) program. She has held numerous executive positions including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Executive Director of Nursing, Clinical Consultant and Health Subject Matter Expert.
Terri has the ability to manage large and complex services with a high level of autonomy and lead major transformational change projects, clinical reviews and research. She provides authoritative, specialist and strategic advice on policy and complex programmatic issues, and has a well-developed understanding of clinical governance, safety and quality systems and expectations.
Michelle Dervan – People and Capability Director
Michelle joined Serco in March 2019. Michelle is a strategic and commercial senior HR executive with expertise in aligning people strategy and programs to organisational goals.
Her extensive career in Human Resources spans across many industries including financial services, telecommunications, media, not for profit and community health. Michelle has managed many large-scale organisational change, culture and transformation initiatives.
Sam Schwarz – Operations Director (Acting)
Sam joined Serco in March 2019 and lead the implementation of workforce management technologies across AsPac. He took on the role of Transformation Director responsible for Continuous Improvement before being appointed Operations Director (acting) in January 2020 to Serco’s ADF Health Services contract.
Sam brings over 25 years’ experience as a transformational leader with experience across diverse industries. He commenced his career in film and theatre, was Company Administrator for Disney Theatrical Productions, and led significant organisational change at Roy Morgan Research (Director HR and Transformation) and at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Director People and Change).
Natalie Goddard - Regional Operations Manager, NT
Over the past ten years Natalie has worked for Serco in various senior roles both in Australia and the UK and since 2015 in key roles within our Defence contracts.
As a senior leader, Natalie has extensive experience in delivering services focused on change and transformation, business improvement, and governance while building and maintaining customer confidence.
Natalie maintains a collaborative and pragmatic approach which enable her to achieve results in dynamic and complex working environments.
Nicky Churchill - Regional Operations Manager, SQLD
For over 10 years, Nicky has held a variety of roles within Serco’s Defence contracts. Nicky is a qualified Occupational Therapist and has post graduate qualifications in Human Resource Management and Safety.
Nicky has held various clinical roles within rehabilitation and hospital settings, and has extensive experience in managing transition in and out of contracts. In her spare time, Nicky teaches Pilates.
David Oliver - Regional Operations Manager, SNSW
David has held various senior management positions including Contract Director – Transperth for Serco, and State Manager – Operational Performance at MSS Security. David is an experienced leader whose teams have delivered strong operational results.
David was a Corporal in the Australian Army prior to embarking on a career with Serco.
David is passionate about providing a supportive and engaging workplace underpinned by Serco’s values. David is driven by developing people, and leading projects designed to improve service delivery.
Cathy Sergi - Regional Operations Manager, NNSW
Cathy has two years’ experience in the sector having previously managed operations for the northern and central NSW regions under the previous ADF Health Services contract. Prior to this, Cathy worked extensively within the public healthcare system.
Bianca Hattingh - Regional Operations Manager, NQLD
Bianca brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, with more than 16 years’ experience in the healthcare and management sectors in Defence as both Army and on previous ADF Health Services contracts. Bianca is committed to providing a strong motivated, values-based work environment. She is passionate about providing a strong cohesive team with a strong focus on communication, training and development and improving the quality of service delivery.
Caroline Page - Regional Operations Manager, CNSW
Caroline has held key Human Resources leadership positions across the private and public sector. She brings with her a wealth of operational management experience and hands-on expertise in managing and building motivated, service focused and values-driven teams. She is passionate about fostering skilled, supported and motivated teams who provide quality patient care. Her objective is to create a workplace culture where people do their best work.
Hayewood Reddy - Regional Operations Manager Vic/Tas
Hayewood has extensive experience building and leading operations teams in financial services and has previous exposure to the Defence Health System as the Regional Manager for JHU SNSW.
He is passionate about delivering positive experiences for his team and is focussed on improving the performance of his region by working collaboratively with ADF.
When not working with stakeholders to deliver services across V&T he is kept busy by his two young children.
May Kivubiro - Regional Operations Manager SA/WA
May brings a diverse set of skills developed over 35 years in the public and private sectors across SA and WA as a registered nurse, having spent the past 15 years in senior roles and specifically hasextensive experience in both clinical and HR management. Bringing a proven record in relationship building, developing partnerships, multidisciplinary team management and facilitation.
May is an experienced Senior Registered Nurse with a Master of Nursing and has also completed a Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner.
