Winning a National Inclusion Standard Bronze Award for our commitment to promoting inclusion in the workplace

Our people 2019
During National Inclusion Week in September, we joined other organisations at the National Inclusion Standard Awards in London, where we were recognised by hosts Inclusive Employers with a Bronze Award for our commitment to inclusion in the workplace.
The National Inclusion Standard was developed and launched in 2018 by workplace inclusion experts, Inclusive Employers as an objective, evidence-based accreditation tool for assessing and promoting inclusion in the workplace. A broad range of organisations participate, including rail operators, police and fire services, local authorities and central government, health trusts, housing organisations and travel operators.
Jade Fraser, Serco Group Head of Diversity and Inclusion, said: “Achieving a Bronze Award is a fantastic achievement for Serco on our journey to becoming a truly inclusive workplace. I look forward to an even better result next year.”
Richard McKenna, Managing Director of Inclusive Employers, said: “It is brilliant to see such a range of organisations demonstrating their commitment to creating truly inclusive workplaces. Many congratulations to all who took part and demonstrated their commitment.”
