Italy celebrating talent at annual Serco Global Pulse Awards

Each year Serco celebrates the company talents with the Serco Global Pulse Award, linked to the four values that define the company’s culture – Trust, Care, Innovation and Pride.

The 2020 prize for Innovation, recognising people who have brought new ways of working and of meeting customer expectations, was assigned to Raffaele Crapolicchio, Service manager from Serco Italy, for his important contribution in the use of Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity satellite mission (devoted to monitor Earth's Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity) to detect promptlythe Solar flux, therefore transforming what was considered an interference in a useful information to capture.

Raffaele is also leading the Red Lab, Serco Europe’s Research & Development incubator located in Italy which focuses on research and innovation in the space sector.
