The certificate was presented to Phil Malem, CEO - Serco Middle East by Mohammad Al Dossari, Senior Director Air Navigation & Aerodromes Department – GCAA at a ceremony in Serco’s offices.
The certification allows Serco to continue to deliver its full suite of Air Navigation Services to new and existing clients under the assurance that it is fully compliant with the Civil Aviation Regulations in the UAE.

To gain certification Serco underwent a stringent GCAA audit and prepared and submitted a number of regulation compliant manuals; Air Navigation Service Operations Manual (ANSOM), Training and Competency Manual (TCM), Safety Management Manual (SMM), Quality Management Manual (QMM) and an Organisational Exposition.
The ceremony was also attended by GCAA’s Ahmed Al Obeidli, Senior Manager Air Navigation and Stewart Murphy, ATS Principle Inspector and Serco’s Natasha Bothma, Growth Director and Douglas Megson, Head of Quality and Safety.
