Serco is pleased to announce the appointment of David Eveleigh as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary. David will join Serco on 17 November 2014, at which point he will join the Group's Executive Committee. In the new role David will be the senior lawyer within the business, responsible for the legal affairs of the Group.
David is currently the General Counsel of BT Global Services and on the Legal Leadership Team for the wider BT Group. Previously he was General Counsel for BT's operations in Canada, US and Latin America, and was based in California. A graduate of Southampton University, David started his legal career at Ashurst Morris Crisp.

The current Company Secretary, John Hickey, will support a handover before moving on to another senior role within Serco.
