DOL Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

About DOL VETS:

The Department of Labor (DOL), Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) program utilizes contractor services for support of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP). This contract supports VETS with advancing the ongoing implementation; sustainment, and enhancement of DOL’s responsibilities in TAP; to ensure Service Members and their families have the necessary career tools and information to seamlessly transition into the civilian workforce to secure meaningful and successful careers, research and identify civilian occupations, establish career goals, learn about credentialing and vocational training programs; while decreasing dependence upon unemployment compensation. Additionally, the objective is to place Transitioning Service Members into apprenticeship and job opportunities, to increase their on-the-job experience; ensuring they are well-equipped to enter the civilian job market.
