The Serco internship program is open to undergraduate students and runs from the end of May until early August. You can find a meaningful internship working in everything from Artificial Intelligence to Systems Engineering — and many other areas in between. As a Serco intern, you can count on trusted leadership and loyal colleagues to make you feel a part of the team. Whether you’re interning in business development, computer science, human resources or mechanical engineering, there is a place for you here because every contribution matters.

Competitive pay
The work you do matters and we compensate our interns with a competitive hourly salary.
Accredited
The time you spend as a Serco intern can be submitted for credit towards graduation. Please work with your internship coordinator in your major or school for more information.

401k eligible
A Serco internship is the start of your career and your opportunity to plan for the future. Interns are eligible to participate in Serco’s 401k and retirement plans and we also provide training to equip you with 401k basics and information that will benefit you now and in the future.
Flexible
Serco is a place for you, whether that’s in-person, virtual or hybrid. Our interns work an average of 36 hours per week, with flexible schedules and half-days on Fridays.
Time off
Serco interns also receive one week off in July to celebrate the 4th of July or Canada Day.

Learn — As a new intern to Serco, you’ll attend training sessions that provide foundational knowledge of Serco’s functions and how we operate as a business to best serve our customers.

Lead — When you return to Serco for a second summer internship, you will attend training sessions on Leading & Innovating Change. Designed to position you as future leaders, these training sessions provide tools and insights on how to navigate and lead through change and how to manage and maximize innovation.

Grow — In your third summer in the Serco internship program, you will be supported in the pursuit of a professional certification of yours/your manager's choice.
An internship at Serco is a collaborative, cohort-based experience where you will have opportunities to connect with and learn from other interns from across the company, and across North America. Our interns often partner with leaders and fellow interns to form committees, create engagement opportunities, and collaborate on strategic projects that make an impact.
