Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology and management services, announced today that the Company has been awarded a contract to continue delivering full-lifecycle training support services to the U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command (JMC) and the Defense Ammunition Center (DAC).  The contract has a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods and is valued at $22 million, if all option years are exercised.

Since 2004, Serco has been delivering web-based training to support the JMC and DAC as they respond to new mandates, mission enhancements and improved performance requirements.  Serco’s performance under the contract includes creating, designing, developing, testing and maintaining learning products, services and technologies to strengthen the customer’s mission capabilities across the Army and DoD.  The Company is also responsible for updating content when necessitated by changes in regulations/laws/policies, and employing methodologies for evaluating the effectiveness of the training provided upon completion.

“Our modelling, simulation and training team in Oklahoma City has worked tirelessly over the past decade to deliver web-based learning solutions to the U.S. Army,” said Dave Dacquino, Serco Inc.’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  “I am proud of our team as they have evolved to meet the distance learning requirements of our customer.”
